Warby St Veterinary Hospital is a rural mixed practice that has been proudly serving the Wangaratta region for years. With a dedicated team of 5 veterinarians, 9 multi-skilled veterinary nurses, and a Practice Manager, we work together to ensure everything runs smoothly, both at the front desk and behind the scenes.

We provide high-quality veterinary care for both small and large animal species, with a particular focus on the equine industry that is prominent in our area. Over the years, we’ve grown from a small practice into one of the larger veterinary clinics in our rural community. This growth has allowed us to expand our facilities and incorporate advanced technologies to better serve our patients.

Our team of veterinarians brings a diverse range of skills and knowledge, which we continuously share to ensure the best possible care for your animals. We’re committed to ongoing professional development, with staff regularly pursuing further study and qualifications to enhance their expertise.

At Warby St Veterinary Hospital, we believe that our greatest asset is our staff. We pride ourselves on our friendly, professional, and compassionate approach to both our clients and their animals.

  • Anaesthesia: We use Isoflurane for safer anaesthesia, tailored to each animal’s needs, with full monitoring by a veterinary nurse.

  • Diagnostic Imaging: We offer both fixed and mobile X-ray machines, including digital imaging for clearer, faster results. We also have two portable ultrasound machines for diagnosing a variety of conditions.

  • Laboratory: With an in-house Idexx blood chemistry lab, we provide quick test results, improving clinical decision-making. We also have access to specialist labs for more detailed testing.

  • Prep Room: This is where we prepare animals for surgery, conduct non-sterile procedures, and assist with treatments like blood collection.

  • Kennel Room: A spacious, climate-controlled area with cozy bedding for inpatients. We also have an isolation ward to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
